Yeah thats what they said about Josesito and many others. They also said Nonito would blow Vazquez away. Didn't happen. In fact, between Arce and Nonito, only one knocked out Vazquez and it was not Donaire. Arce is a solid challenge.

I do not like the matchup, when there is other bigger fights out there, but understand that Jorge Arce is the most Known name of them all. And if i am not mistaken, the Philippines was suppose to build a stadium to host this fight as most filipinos like Arce. Dont get me wrong I love Arce, however, i feel a fight with Abner Mares or Guillermo Rigondeaux or the Japanese dude whos name i cannot remember, would really solidify Donaires status as Top Dog. One thing is for sure, if Arce and Donaire get it on, it will be an action packed fight with both men throwing bombs nonstop and a fight of the year canidate, whereas the other guys i mentioned will probably just try to outbox the Filipino flash

it will be action packed for about 2 rounds & arce gets ko'd.

who wants to see that? the past 11 fights of donaire he's been the top favorite. we all knew he was gonna win..........none of these guys presented legitimate threats to beating donaire.

we want to see this guy challenge himself............no one wants to see him ko arce within 2 rounds.
