Schafer is an A$$ for comparing this fight to Oscar-Pac simply because Canelo is not on the decline like Oscar was when PAC fought him, nor will Canelo be moving down in weight like Oscar did. Hell it really wasnt a mismatch in weight in the Oscar-Pac fight considering PAC weighed more then Oscar I believe. Just stop it this fight is a mismatch, I would just rather him say "hey we could'nt find another opponent".

I am glad he is getting recognition, hes a warrior and he fully deserves this payday after battling it out and getting numerous bad decisions and scoring a big upset over Ortiz but FFS I can no longer defend this clown Canelo. His team are beyond a joke.

One of the biggest, hardest hitting most skillful 154lb fighters is basically picking on a 140lb fighter who couldn't even get to 147lbs.
He weighed in at 144 & was only 143lbs on fight night!
And he is fighting Canelo who must rehydrate to near 165 if not even more.

This is ridiculous. They may as well of picked a fookin' flyweight

He was only 143 on fight night vs Ortiz? That's insane. I know for sure Canelo re-hydrates to at least 160 and I'm being conservative. We could be looking at a 20lb weight difference on fight night. That's more than Margarito's 17lb advantage over Pac.

It wasn't that many years ago he was fighting at 135 & 130.
This fights a damn joke, i'll be hoping Lopez pulls the miracle off in spite tbh
