donaire barely won his last fight against mathebula on my card (only up by 1 point) & Vazquez Jr marked him up pretty good (A vazquez who was stopped by arce)

again. i judge a "good opponent" based on 3 things............1. timing (how did he look in his last bout)

arce looked horrible in his last fight to me (he fails number 1)

2. style.

arce's style will play right into donaires style.........thats not up for debate (style wise the fight is a complete joke)

& number 3.........overall resume.

arce as a opponent fails number 1 & 2. but his resume is better then rigo.......while rigo looked better in his last fight & has a much difficult style vs anything arce could ever dream of.

you can't strictly look at a "name" when it comes matchmaking. because thats how guys duck & pick there way to the top.

but ALL OF This is irrelevant because donaire said that he won't fight rigo. he's looking to move up in weight before sharing a ring with rigo.
