He fights too much to please people. He comes across as a guy with a chip on his shoulder. Tabares was asking him to box but his reply was something like, "I want to make it exciting". It's ******, he should fight to his advantages, reach and height... Box from the outside but all he wanted to do was trade.

I think Roach not being there at the time was the reason too, plus the cameras.

Even the pad work was horrible, and the sparring was absolutely shocking like you said. And they let the cameras shoot the whole session which i don't like.

Yea Khan was getting hit waaaaaaay to much in that sparring session. He had better make adjustments like he is supposed to because If he fights the same on fight night he will be in a very tough fight that he can possibly lose

Good episode. Angel Garcia came across in a lot better light. Clears his comments situation up and says he respects Khan.

Have you got a link. My read of Garcia's father was that he wanted to shut down Team Khan's and Golden Boy's media barrage where it would all be about Khan and kill it before it got started. If he was being all nice the media would make his son look like an also ran.

I agree but it's true what he said, he said he just get's hyped at times and say's things he doesn't mean because it's his blood, his son.

It's understandable in that sense.

Still, he shouldn't have said what he said.

the amir khan behind the ropes was good, but amirs training was horrible imo.

With Marvin and Tabares he was too wild, with Roach he seemedto listen IMO.

I understand as well and he came across really well. Danny was as always the nicely soft spoken kid. I guess Angel has succeeded in creating some more attention for the fight. Look forward to seeing what he's like at the press conference and the weigh in.
