Where does it say that the interview was the reason for the cancellation? Or is that just what everybody is assuming?

No way to pay for a Doctor. Good thinking guys!!! You really "SAVED" James Toney.

      Idiots.
Where did joo get these stats? I hope they're not true. It's a shame that a guy like James Toney who has devoted his life to boxing is not in good shape financially after years of fighting. I read that Toney made $1 million for his mma bout last summer so he's still making good paydays...

I have no idea how accurate these numbers are, but it's a sad legacy of boxing that its athletes often wind up broke. Mike Tyson managed to squander (reportedly) over 300 million dollars in earnings. Evander Holyfield is himself in financial trouble. I think it's safe to say that James Toney hasn't grossed as much money as those two. Owing 300k to the IRS seems like small potatoes, when you think about it.

The average American lives beyond their means. Even if you make a mil a year, you're gonna be in debt if you spend 1,100,000. (And God help you if you're not keeping up with your taxes on those kind of earnings.)
