    Jesus...

I could barely understand anything James was saying. I wish he'd hang his gloves up but he needs the money.

If you know Toney, it is him that got himself in trouble. Reporters have always been known to instigate. Its up to Toney to know not to go overboard. He's a grown man.

Toney is his own worst enemy. He owes $350,000 in back taxes, that says it all.

I don't know what's more embarrassing, Sechback's "journalism," Toney's lowest-common-denominator persona, or my inability to control my laughter at some of "Lights Out's" comments.

I read the Rafael piece in question. I didn't think there was anything wrong about it. Yet, here's this "reporter" instigating animosity between a fighter and the journalist who wrote it. Does anyone really think Toney, or anyone else like him, should be fighting? He might pick up a quick payday, but his health will be gone and (trust me) the bills will remain.

            Sechback is a weasel.

I wonder if Seckbach likes tearing the wings off of butterflies? His Toney stuff reminds me of a kid poking caged animals at the zoo with a stick.

That Rafael-threatening video sure didn't help Toney's cause. Not long after the story about the video hit the web, Main Events pulled the plug on Toney.

So is Adamek really going to participate in the 4-man tournament, or is he just using that as an excuse to get out of the Toney fight?

I think it's more Main Events didn't like the media heat they were getting over the Toney-Adamek matchup and were looking for a way to dump Lights Out, and the tournament was a perfect excuse.

Whether Adamek is really going to participate no-one knows yet.

a weasel is exactly what that clown is.

that sort of "journalist" is exactly what's wrong with the media in boxing.

I used to think Seckbach had a nice little thing going on: running around with camcorder in hand, interviewing boxers on the fly; recording short, snappy interviews boxing fans wouldn't otherwise get. A kind of "guerilla" journalism. He had a chance to carve himself a little niche, perhaps even go mainstream, like Kellerman did. Instead, the guy wastes too many opportunities by asking uninteresting questions and basically making himself look like a tool.

Now we get this abomination of an "interview" with Toney, where Seckbach baits an obviously unstable fighter and pits him against a "fellow" journalist. It's such an unprofessional act that his future in any legitimate media is probably shot.
