I think it's doable. If TR is concerned about money, stage the fight in Japan. Donaire has some presence there. Of course Nishioka is a huge draw. A venue in Japan will make more green than a fight at the Staples Center against Arce. Donaire will most def get more street cred for beating Nishioka too.

yah i think i remember donaire saying he would be open to fighting nishioka in japan...i think he said this sometime last year. but if he were to beat nishioka in japan he'd definitely get some respect. But I guess we're going to have to hold off on a nishioka fight though. and i think nishioka said that if there is no donaire fight next that he will fight mares to get back his wbc belt..and if nishioka beats mares then donaire will probably go after that third belt.

From his post fight interview, it seems Donaire wants to fight Nishioka more. Not really keen on Arce but it will do, specially since its here in LA again. I prefer Staples Center than the ****** Home Depot Center. But for cheap tickets, i would go back to Carson to see the fight.

Not the fight I want to see. But sadly Donaire-Arce is the fight many casual fans want to see. I remember how people wanted to see this fight in particular staged in Manila and Arce was number one on an ESPN Deportes poll on who Donaire should fight next.

This is just a showcase fight for money.

When Arum spoke to Karceno, Arum said that Donaire would fight Rigondeaux afterwards in December. I doubt that though. I just hope Donaire fights Nishioka or Rigondeaux or Mares within the next 6 months.
