this has got to be frustrating for stevenson...no one wants to fight him...like dana white says, this is one of the major problems in boxing...what if the red sox just said, "we won't play the yankees" or the heat said "we won't play boston"....just pure nonsense that only exists in boxing and shows just how far behind the times this sport, which i love passionately, actually is

There's obviously something that is not being said here.

"Andre Dirrell has officially withdrew from the bout" sounds more like Dirrell was not happy with the money and Michel is making it look like he just withdrew out of nowhere. And sounds like all of those guys, Kessler, Pavlik, Bika, Rodriguez, were not happy with the money either. Bika has fought, and would fight, absolutely any one. From Calzaghe, to Bute, to Ward, so I doubt there's any ducking going on here. More like low-balling.

I also like the biased comment at the end, from the writer. "A late hit by Abraham". Call it what it actually was, and that is an uncalled for, disgraceful foul. Late hit my ass. A late hit is more like your momentum making you throw the punch after a bell. That was blatant punch to Dirrell's chin while he was not looking and was obviously kneeling on the floor from slip.
