I'd be shocked if Canelo fought an actual contended.

he's not fighting Lara because the WBC has already seen to that , they've already order Lara vs Vanes. it's one the endless eliminators to be Canelo's mandatory.

WBC has given Canelo an exuse not to fight Trout because they claim they'll strip him if he faces Trout.

Cotto is on vacation and would never have a PPV on the same day as another PPV, because it would cost him some serious cash.

I highly doubt Showtime or CBS won't put the 2.5 million for Kirkland plus whatever Canelo wants. and if they go PPV i doubt they'll make enough simply because of Chavez vs Martinez on the same night.

CBS won't be showing the fight unless it starts at 11pm. sorry but alabama vs arkansas will probably be the CBS prime time game and no way CBS put Boxing on instead of college football.


saying all that he'll probably fight Mayorga or Maidana on Showtime. either way I serious doubt he'll fight anybody that's a threat.

Canelo only fights washed up guys or undersized guys. Mayorga is washed up and Maidana is undersized, you take your pick

If Cotto or Mayweather fight on Sept 15th, it's guaranteed Chavez-Martinez will be forced to move to another date.

Nope. Arum would be more than glad to make Floyd/Golden Boy lose business and stay on that date. And I personally rather watch Chavez-Martinez than a 1 sided beating dished out by Floyd. And like I said they wouldnt pick this date and go head to head against another PPV.
