.........could have gone 9-3 maybe 8-4 but he was the clear winner. The HBO crew has to keep the fight interesting and Kellerman saying it was close is a joke, its just his job to generate more interest. I'm sure this kid is HBO's hopefull future with Manny getting ready to stop soon. Makes sense, good action fighter like Manny. Ray

Lampley, Steward and co weren't commentating so it was actually pretty good and fair. Roy Jones was giving credit to both, so was Kellerman.

Not in the least, I don't think. They were saying the final round might be the decider, and having legit discussions about whether the judges would prefer the activity of Mathebula or the harder shots of Donaire.

I had the exact same card. In the 10th round I thought Donaire was in trouble. The 11th round wont be remembered because of how wide the scores were but to me Donaire proved a lot there when he won it convincingly.

Its crazy to think people had Donaire winning all of the rounds

I could see 2 and 4 going Mathebula's way, I wouldn't give him 6 rounds total though. Seems a round too many.

I dont see how some people can have this fight as a draw or even close. Mathebula was playing survivor mode almost the entire fight, and ended up looking very awkward throughout each round. "but look at donaire's face!". Ive seen more damaged, red faces from wearing tight headgear.

i am not a big fan of mathebula..........but he kept the jab pumping & he fought hard against donaire. he made it very close........you guys that are saying he "ran" are complete delusional fanboys.
