Americans of course, don't have hype jobs.

Two off the top of my head.

Jeff Lacy - the next Mike Tyson until Calzaghe destroyed him........

Pavlik was also the second coming for a long-time until running into Hopkins.

F So im guessing us "Americans" are supposed to be thrilled about a fighter who goes life and death with a limited fighter like Carson Jones? If that had been an American fighter like Andre Berto, ppl would be saying even worse. But even Andre Berto never went life and death with this level of fighter. Kell Brook isn't young, he's not really a prospect anymore. He's just not that good. And aye America had his hype jobs. That doesn't take away from three fact that Kell brook isn't that good.

And I don't think Khan it's a hype job. I think he's a wasted talent. He could be much better wth better training and a good portion of that is on his American coach.

That's Canada my friend, on the same North American continent but different country. America does have a fair amount of hype jobs too though, Adrien Broner is one of them, Danny Jacobs was one

Good post problem is in the UK there are not many fighters so if you are looking good beating lesser fighters you get hyped in America there are a lot more fighters so they get matched tough early like Alexander who even though I felt got two gifts and was hyped up a lot, still has a great record compared to Brook.

Though there are still guys who are protected and hyped such as Gary Russell Jnr weather he will sink or swim we shall see.

But the majority of your fighters are glorified tomato cans.

Kell Brook is a certified hype job, who rated himself way too highly. He's never had good conditioning and his ability to fight inside is trash. Whats annoying is how he gets away with putting his opponents in head locks, pushing their heads down or downright pushing his opponent off of him, a point should have definitely been taken away from him.

Don't hate the guy, the hype has always been unwarranted, I hope he learns from this. A rematch would be good.
