It's also true that Donaire landed the harder, more accurate shots, broke Mathebula's tooth and beat him down.

Isn't this how you pacfarts judge a fight?
Donaires face gets easily marked up, no matter who he's fighting

how can you call that fight competitve? with Mathebula's pitty pats?

Was at the fight. Nonito clearly won, 7-8 rounds, don't think its a robbery or draw. Nonito was showing off too much. What he did in the last 2 rounds, he should have been doing from the start.

This was a really good fight that Donaire clearly won.

That knockdown was incredible--what a beautiful counter left! Pretty much the same won as the Montiel fight.

            Gritty fight

Anybody else noticed how Kellerman went silent when the Compu-box numbers were displayed on the screen? Haha!

After Kellerman recouped, he then went on saying how Donaire was throwing these massive bombs but Papa and Jones Jr stopped him in his tracks and said "yeah, but he isn't landing!". Max went "Well, oh, yeah, I see him landing a couple of shots here and there..."

GTFO Max. I certainly don't hope you become as delusional as your HBO-colleague, Jim Lampley, who sees phantom punches from his favorite fighter(s) landing that others don't.

Some people in this thread need to just stop watching boxing if they think Donaire clearly won this fight. "His face bruises easily". "He had leg problems". "Mathebula was running the whole night". No. Donaire got outboxed tonight. I thought the first round could have went either way, obiously Nonito won the round with the knockdown, and he won the last two rounds. Other than that, Mathebula was dominating the fight. Anyone who didn't see that needs a serious eye examination. Nonito was hardly even THROWING punches in some rounds, let alone landing them. Mathebula had very good defense and was able to avoid the majority of Donaire's punches. Yes, Nonito landed every once in a while, but he was outlanded by Mathebula in almost every single round. HBO loves Donaire, and even they had to spit out his d*** for a second. Donaire showed tonight that he is not p4p and has a lot of work to do before he gets anywhere near that level. People are crazy to think otherwise. I also think it's extremely lame that Donaire downplays Rigo's skills. I think he's scared of the Cuban. He would definitely get outboxed by him at this point. I like how out of all the great fighters at or near his weight, he seems most enthusiastic about taking on old man arce. Why not Gamboa, Broner, Russel Jr, Fortuna or Rigo? Step it up Nonito. Everyone expected you to win and win easily tonight. You did not do so

I would like to see him fight a guy that has pop and decent speed. Then we'll see what he's made of. Nishioka is 35 now but he still has a lot of game, and while he isn't 5'11 like Mathebula, he's by far the better boxer and has more pop than Mathebula too.

Donaire impressed me against Vic and Montiel. However, Montiel came up in weight and I didn't give him much chance to begin with but that left hook KO was deadly. Donaire hasn't impressed me since then.

I stopped reading after the first sentence.

But I will state, that if anyone thought Mathebula won the fight.............they should quit watching boxing and go admire fencing or some ****.

Nonito isn't serious in fighthing rigo, he's more interested in fighting Nishioka who is old and no longer a champ, why? Probably he sees something in Nishioka that he can exploit but against rigo he got none that's why he ain't interested in fighting the cuban.
