I had it 8-4, could see 7-5. Donaire tried way too hard for big KO punches, and he always does that. Way too in love with his power. It was ****** when Kellerman was saying, "Tall punchers with power in their right hand have to like this." How many 6 foot tall heavy punchers are there anywhere around that weight? Are there any?

Mathebusa's trainer was hilarious when he was mad at the camera man. That was awesome.

That was a weird close fight. Donaire was obviously the better fighter, but Mathebusa's activity kept the fight close. When Donaire stopped f***ing around in the 11th and 12th, he beat the sh** out the guy, and in general throughout the fight that's what happened. Donaire will lose to better fighters if he doesn't start boxing rather than always try to land the damn left hook.

The scores were wide. Compu box means ****. Jeffrey slapped a lot and that jab was more to keep Donaire off than stepping in with it. If Nonito would had jabbed in the fight it would had been easier.

Don't know how anybody saw Jeffrey winning. This was a clear fight. Similar to Pac/Bradley, the clear heavy hurting punches were comming from Nonito

This, just because Donaire got out landed doesn't mean a damn thing when there is NOTHING behind those punches. Someone posted about giving too much credit for heart and determination and they were right, otherwise Margarito would never lose a round. Punches with pop win fights, also Nonito getting out landed was due to the size/reach difference and nothing else. Skill wise it wasn't even close, comparing this fight against Rigo is just idiotic COMPLETELY different styles. Besides if the KD had happened with even 30 seconds left the fight was over.

Jeffrey is an idiot for not going all out in the last 2 rounds. If he would have fought those like he did the previous 6 it would have been an all out robbery and he would have gotten a lot of credit from the fans and media, especially since compubox had it a mismatch.

His jaw was probably broken in the 11th. I don't blame anyone who fights conservative after their jaw gets broken, Victor Ortiz included.

His problem was keeping that right hand down and allowing Donaire to throw over it.

I will start by saying that I only watched last night because Pavlik was on the card . So, I have no dog in this fight. With that said and I also did not score the fight. But in in my minds eye I had it pretty even gong into the last two rounds. And in my opinion the Flash pulled the fight out in the 11th and 12th rounds. And regardless of what his fans say the South African was tagging him with some pretty solid shots. And how do I know this? It was simple I watched the fight. I bet you could not go an inch in any direction on Donaire's face with out finding a bruise. And unless Donaire bruises from breathing heavily it was caused by the other guys fist. And I will say it again from an unbiased perspective the scoring was absolutely horrendous.

According to the ringside physician, it was a cracked tooth. That's what the crew said after Donaire's post fight interview. I thought his jaw got broken as well when I saw it.

Good win but Donaire does need to stop headhunting so much. Jeff was lucky he got dropped at the end of the round. Donaire would have finished him if there was more time in the round.

And yeah that was funny as hell when Jeff's trainer cussed out the camera man.

tbh i don't even like donaire, and he did show some flaws, but all things considered, that was a pretty solid performance.

first time fighting a guy taller than him.

also was the first time having to fight with a new style, as a pressure fighter. pressure fighters get hit. look at margarito, rios, maidana, kirkland, segura, katsidis, etc.

i thought he did okay tbh. sent the guy to the canvas, and broke his toof.

the wide scoring was shady though.
