That is EXACTLY what donaire means. Rigondeaux fight is not in his thought process.

Name of the title should be:
Donaire Defeats Mathebula, Unifies The WBO/IBF Titles AND Ducks Rigondeaux on National Television

Donaire won. Didnt impress.another excuse...my legs ? Rigo , maybe....im running to 126.clear , rigo will beat him badly , he wont face it. But at 126 , salido , caballero , even lopez will make him lokk bad. He is not carring the power he showed at 112 and 115 anymore. Evrybody is realizing rigo is the real powerful 122 now.donaire must ask for victor conte help or go back to flyweights.

I know this is the case cause after the fight I immediately rewatched twice in fast-motion:-P
It's hard to not be the aggressor when your opponent runs for his life for 7 rounds after catching a counter left. That's why I'm baffled with how some people on here scored the fight..
I guess some people scored rounds for Mathebula because he avoided getting KTFO? Or maybe because he'd throw 3 or 4 punch combos and not land a single punch?

you have to remember, this was a TOP Rank Promoted fight and Nonito is a Top Rank fighter, unlike Pac-Brad where both are under Uncle Bob's wings and Pac is soon going away from boxing while Tim Bradley is still in his prime and lots of bucks to be made in the future.....the judges are in Uncle Bob's payroll....

I had it 116-111. Mathebula ran way too much and completely froze when donaire hit him with powershots. His lack of pop made it hard to give him too much credit, especially when all he landed with was with jabs.

Awkward fight for Donaire, had it 8-4..Donaire getting hit but nothing significant.
Anyone would look bad against someone back pedaling with that height advantage.
