guess that mean both brook and ortiz were overrated then, ehh? lol. either way, carson jones isnt even as good as i would say lopez is. seriously, carson jones isnt that good. im surprised to hear ppl calling him a beast. hes barely even an espn fighter over here. at least lopez is that much(or was).

So he doesn't have promo backing, and a journeyman record. You got a guy like that ranked 2 at feather. USS Cunningham has been on US TV once in 5 years, in Adamek's hometown.

I'm not saying he's a worldbeater, but sure better than his record. The guy is 25, with 45 bouts. But I'd love to see him make Ortiz quit, I think he could do it.

What? Carson Jones is a beast but a person is blind if they score the fight for him. It isn't beyond logic if someone scored the fight for Jones considering it was very close.

I think its pretty simple to understand. Carson Jones was tough, competitive, fought his heart out and showed real guts but didnt win enough rounds. Is that really such a hard thing to get your head around.

If you really understand boxing then you know that just looking at a fighters win/loss record doesnt always tell the full story. Whatever it is Jones did, he found something from somewhere within himself and made a real go of turning his career around. He probably surprised himself and his confidence soared with every win.

That my friend is the spirit of this great sport, didnt make him a winner this time, but he won everyones respect and probably did Kell Brook the biggest favour he could possibly have done career wise. If Kell learns the right lessons from this he will become a great fighter, if not he will stay domestic or fade.

Kell is my favourite british fighter and I back him all the way. despite his mouth I tip my hat to Jones and say 'what a fighter'.
