Surprisingly fair, cong**** to Jones on his first real test.
And props to Jones, he's better than the 06 version, but still has a lot to work on

A tale of two halfs, Brook dominated the the 1st five rounds then Jones started to come on. I had Brook winning by one round but he didn't shine tonight. Towards the end he was lucky to stay on his feet.

Turned out a decent scrap enjoyed that so I did .Thought it was going to be 1 sided especially the first half but good grit from Jones the second half .Props to both as well would like to see a rematch .Jones says he should have started earlier and he would have got the victory and wants a rematch so he defintley must fancy it

Brook was on wobbly legs the last 10 seconds. I wish the ref hadn't bailed Brook out buying him time by interfering. Brook might have gotten dropped. Even so I think he still would have had a 1 point edge. Brook definitely was severly tested here that nose is broken. He looked like a beast over the first 5 rounds but he ran out of steam and Jones showed his experience coming on late. I had it 7 to 5 in favor of Brook but you definitely got the feeling Jones was the fighter with more in the tank late. Definitely was exciting. Brook should come away from this gaining valuable experience that will help him moving forward.

                    Alfin,
I didn't bother scoring it. Felt is was a close fight that Brook edged but could have gone either way with no complaints from me. Interestingly, the US judge gave it to Brook so I think that dispels the hometown claim of yours but stranger things have, and do, happen in boxing.

Out of interest, I would like to know how you scored each round. Not out of criticism, just to see how another amateur fan (like myself) rates things. Thanks.
