Freddie Roach is by far the most overrated trainer in boxing

Been with Pac for years and he's still a crude brawler. People come up with this BS about him being able to box now but he still doesn't have a clue.

Pac, like Khan, is a raw talent. They both get by on their physical attributes such as speed. Neither have any technique. Khan has been with Freddie years now and still has no footwork whatsoever.

You sir are correct while I can't deny Roach knows how to polish out fighters combos a little more other than that he does nothing. If u look at everyone he Trains they all fight alike. A real trainer to me is someone who can take a fighter and mode what they already have while adding to their craft. Roach doesn't do that.

he has trained several world champions to be fair. i suppose your idea of a good trainer is a guy who says repeatedly "keep doin what your doin" or "box that mutha fcuka"

I wasn't aware a trainer's job was to switch a boxers style up but to tweak it and add some arsenal to it.

Remember Pacquiao when he started on HBO all he knew was one punch? What did Roach do for him? Thought so...

Now if you wanna say he sux as a trainer cause when **** hits the fan in a fight and his fighters need him he doesn't say **** to them, then Ill accept that.

Forgot which fight it was or it's safe to say most of them... *His fighter getting beat up and comes to the corner* Roach: Ok, breath. Alright, Deep breaths. Alright now. *bell goes off*

I guess, one can make the excuse and blame his Parkinson.

In all fairness all the guys that were champions were champions or champion caliber fighters before he trained them. Just saying..

You can't teach certain things nomatter who you are sometimes as a trainer it is better for you to maximize on a fighters talents rather then try to greatly improve on things they aren't great at.

Freddie roach is great at making a fighter great at what the fighter is good at. Sounds ****** but think about it.

It's a fight and when u start getting hit you fall back into your old ways ... Roach perfects those old ways so to speak.

                    I like him.
