Come on now, its not hard to get a doctor to come out and say such thing. Peterson did it (which didn't help him) and so did BHop after the Dawson fight.

The guy seems to "injure" himself before every big fight or step up in opposition, however you wanna call it.
So I guess you don't believe Kirkland is injured. Or does it only apply to fighters you don't like?

It is a shame that Pirog rode that Jacobs win straight into oblivion.

He was supposed to fight Ndam, pulled out after he "slipped on ice" then returned 3 weeks after the scheduled date for the ndam fight against Ishida.

I wonder if we will see him in September against some scrub.

            It is..

It's rare you see 2 European fighters headlining an HBO show. I can't think of one off of the top of my head.

Also, it is unclear if he will be out of the ring for the time mentioned, or he won't be able to train for that long.

Either way, he will probably be stripped for not being able to take his mandatory bout.

I think they should just postpone the fight if Quillin isn't willing to take it. Not that interested in Macklin and even less interested in Rubio.

To pull out of a fight, there has to be a fight made first, not just a laughable offer. Otherwise remind me what happened when Sergio was supposed to fight Pirog in Russia?

Pirog said he'd be ready for HNN or whoever may 1. Why couldn't the unranked challenger wait 3 weeks to contest for the full title, not vacant interim belt? Oh that's right, he had that stadium booked in Equatorial Guinea.

That's how I remember it as well. He claimed he had to postpone the Ndam fight then turned around and fought Ishida a few weeks later.
