He needs this rematch, and having another fight in between is the right move. I can't see what Bute does so differently that he wins the second time though.

Given the choice i actually think Bute would have fought Froch straight away.

at 160

at 168 his power is lessened and his chin is yet to be tested, Martinez is good but he's not an ATG imo, Darren Barker and Matt Macklin were in the fight with him and Froch would utterly demolish that pair.

as i said in the other thread I don't see this as a challange for Froch

And yes it would be an easy fight. Prime Pavlik was good against guys who stayed in front of him but today's version is just trash.

Froch walked through everything Bute threw. I just see this fight being quicker. On one hand I give props to Bute for wanting the rematch but at the same time who wouldn't do it? He'll make a lot more on this rematch than any other fight so mine as well get paid before you ride off into the club circuit.
