    Memo to Bute:

Unless you were injured before the fight, rematch is bad idea. You looked like lost little boy in the 5th rd.

    Sincerely Yours,

Your Lost Brain Cells and Your Conscious

        I don't see it.

I can't see anything but another KO win for Froch given the fact that his power caused all kinds of problems, Bute couldn't even take Froch's arm punches without a bad reaction let alone those power shots that had him legless in 3 of the 5 rounds.

If he goes back in there and get's KO'd again, even if he lasts a little longer, it does his career no good. Two KO losses against the only elite opponent you have ever fought.

A simple trick like clinching when you're hurt goes a long way. If he gives Froch some problems and gets stopped again later on, he will have redeemed himself IMO.

            ^^^^^^

Froch has absolutely no respect for Bute's power Bad match up for Bute. Unless Bute was injured before the fight, I don't think the outcome will change. In fact, Froch will be more aggressive against Bute at Montreal; Froch want to judge the fight Hagler style - with his fists.

Bute announced Thursday afternoon that he will be exercising the rematch clause in his contract from their first fight. However, the news comes with the caveat that both fighters will head in opposite directions in taking interim fights later this year.

“That was not the real Lucian Bute in that Nottingham ring on May 26,” Bute (30-1, 24KO) vowed in looking back on the 5th round knockout loss to Froch in Nottingham, England.

The defeat was the first of Bute’s career, also putting to an end a super middleweight title reign that lasted more than 3 ½ years.

“I spent the last few weeks reflecting about what went wrong, what happened, and the only thing that is crystal clear in my mind is that I want my rematch with Carl Froch as soon as possible.”

I really see the same outcome as the first fight tbh..I just don't believe Bute punch resistance is any good and with a fighter like Froch, who is a rough kinda style..It just does not look that good for Bute imo...War Froch...
