All the Dirrell haters can suck a fat one. Not only is he gonna fight Stevenson but he's gonna dominate and remind everybody that he's one of the best super middleweights in the world. Froch ain't gonna fight him again though.Comment

Dirrell doesn't suck, based on talent he might be the best at 168 but he's ****ed around and wasted like 3 years of his prime, his performance against froch was disgusting, his performance against Stevens was one of the most terrible I can ever remember seeing, his Abraham situation was su****ious, he ducked Andre ward blatantly, he didn't want to know about bute until froch exposed him, need I go on.
Dirrell has a LOT of making up to do to be taken seriously again.Last edited by Earl-Hickey; 07-04-2012, 01:42 AM.Comment

High risk, minimal reward? What are you talking about?
The reward is a shot at the IBF title against Froch, a man who you could argue he has beaten before. The only risk Stevenson carries is his power, which with all due respect isn't proven at the highest level.
I like Stevenson, but Dirrell takes this. Ward aside, he's the most skilled at 168. He just doesn't seem to have the mindset to be a great fighter/champion.Comment

I've seen pretty much every Froch fight over the years on one tv channel or download or whatever.
And the Dirrell fight is the only stinker.
Froch can fight differently next time, Dirrell cannot because if dont run his gets crushed like a melon under a lump hammer.Comment

Dirrell wins this fight easily. I can see a wide UD or a TKO win. Stevenson is a limited fighter with power that's it. Dirrell has all the tools he just needs to stay focused and it will be easy work.Comment

Froch was tiring from chasing him round the ring for 9 rounds. Dirrell should have fought him from the start, he would have left with much more credit.
I just don't think Dirrell has the heart of a champion.Comment
