I don't get why people say Dirrell hasn't proved he's good. He should have beaten Froch, which was a highly controversial fight. And he was handily beating Abraham easily before all that s**t happened. Dirrell just has to stay smart, stick and move, and he'll box circles around Stevenson. This is a big risk for him though, could be a solid reward though which puts him back in the mix for big fights at 168.

Dirrell fades late in fights. he did it against Froch and with Abraham as well. he gets on his bike and throws combos but I haven't seen him to that for the full 12.

if Stevenson catches him late, I think it's over. Dirrell is good enough to win but he needs to be in top condition, so he can stay on that bike for more than 8 rounds.

I think Dirrell should take on somebody like Pavlik or Edwin Rodriguez but fights are a lot better for him.

Personally,I felt Dirrell's best work was in the later rounds against Froch...he stunned and hurt Froch in those late rounds.

Andre Dirrell will knock this guy out.

            First of all, he's old.

Secondly, he's been knocked out in under two rounds by Darnell Boone. Boone has a who's who of a resume, and even knocked down Andre Ward. But still, he was 16-15 when he knocked out Stevenson 2 years ago. And every "good" fighter who has fought him, has beaten him. Ward, Lara, Pascal, Rodriguez, and a few others lower tier but respectable fighters.

Third, he hasn't even beaten any one. His resume is full of no names. His best two opponents have been Boone and Pryor Jr and these guys are C fighters at best. And was knocked out by Boone, and doesn't even dare to fight him again.

Dirrell would eat this guy up for lunch. Easily.

Should be a boxing exhibition by Dirrell. Stevenson is a hell of a puncher, but he hasn't faced a boxer like Dirrell. One of the biggest things Dirrell will need to do is keep his hands up high when he's escaping laterally on the ropes when he gets pressured. All it takes is one bomb from Stevenson while pressuring and Dirrell's lights go out. Otherwise, be first and box.

Very hard fight for Stevenson. Dirrell is much faster and slicker than Stevenson. Unless he connects with a bomb he's going to get outboxed.

Dirrell needs to establish some credibility again after ducking Ward and the whole AA/Dr Shaw High debacle.

I think guy is made for him to look good.

Get in line? Seemingly everyone has turned down Stevenson, including Kessler.

As a result they are negotiating with Dirrell because it is finally his turn "in line."
