Nothing against the Klitzkos , can't even spell their names, but I am ready for Heavyweights to come back to America.

Back in the early 60's it was Patterson and Liston but that was on the Radio and tv was more black and white, we didn't have a color tv.

Here Comes Cassius Clay and he fights Liston and shocks the WORLD, what a whirlwind the heavy's became.

The lower weight classes had greats without a doubt but America had the heavies

    Frazier
    Foreman
well you know all of um.

I took my wife to a sportatorium to watch the first Frazier Foreman fight. Frazier had been destroying ALL COMERS and I figured wrong, I figured Frazier would destroy this young lion,,,WOW was I WRONG LOL

    Ali was da mang !!!!!

Long for the days for a great heavy to take it home.

Hoping in someone is a trap , either its THERE or it AIN' T

Waiting to see Deontay in a bigger fight, hopefully "ITS THERE" !!

It would be grand to see him be the heavyweight to bring it HOME

Chavez Jr. had 40 fights against nobodies before he was ready.

So Deontay Wilder can certainly take his time too....what matters is that they properly hone his skills.

Wilder is going to be one of those guys that people will never be satisfied with who he fights, no matter how big the step up.

This is actually a fairly large step up. Good fight for him.

kelvin price has a win over tor hamer but that really proves nothing as it was early in hamer's career. price is 37 & only has 13 fights. wilder should beat this guy with little trouble. actually i think after 23 fights wilder should be bigger & stronger. he also should be taking on a guy like gavern, firtha, mollo, quezada,etc...23 fights & he has a win over owen beck & nothing more. the jury is still out on this guy...

True, but Beck was his last fight. I think it's clear they're trying to move him a long. Granted some of his opposition has been absolutely horrid. He was dropped by Harold Sconer, I think that fight was intended as a minor step up, and they stepped him back down as a result of it. Hopefully he can move forward now.

I can't imagine he'll be an easy win for Wilder.
for real dont why all the btching. Its not like the top heavy weights are fighting top contenders.
