it seems like not a lot of boxers or trainers have much respect for Canelo. most say he's a fake champ, being protected or whatever.

I don't disagree but as long as his fans support him it doesn't really matter because at the end of the day he's banking.

I don't think the typical Canelo fan really cares if he's good or not, it's just about the hype.

Khan has fought far better competition in his division. Canelo has been fighting smaller guys who are not even champions in his division.

So, let me get this straight... Danny beats a far beyond faded Erik Morales and even further faded Nate Campbell... plus Kendall Holt and he's not a protected fighter like Khan who's faced Zab Judah, Marcos Maidana, Andriy Kotelnyk, a faded Marco Antonio Barrera, and Paulie Malignaggi (despite his lack of power, Paulie can box).

Maybe Angel should realize the only reason his son has a belt is because the WBC gift wrapped Morales one against a lightweight to allow him the opportunity.
