Soliman "landed" 80% of his punches. Sure most were "blocked" from traditional amateur scoring areas, but Soli was landing at will and preventing Winky from throwing. I'd say 30% of what Soliman threw landed traditional scoring areas. He hit the body from all angles, every side of Winky's head including several which split Winky's gloves perfectly.

Maybe you like your winners bigger, stronger, with more reach and whining to the ref all night about a little guy agressively coming after him. Not I. I don't and a whole lot more obviously don't. You go ahead and prop up your man Winky. He needs itafter last night. Soli goes home the winner with American fans and is the one who fought the good fight and we all know it, and so does Winky, I guarantee that, especially after he hit the wall last night after having Soli briefly hurt. Never seen Wink do that before and he knows he was in trouble in that fight.

Theres probably a lot of tito fans on this board so thats why wright is getting all the critisism. I scored it 116-112 for winky and it was well deserved. Again, styles make fights, this guy had a very awkward style and Winky had to adjust to it. He hurt him numerous times in the fight and most of solimans punches were blocked or partially blocked. Remember, sugar shane mosley lost to wright but by MD. Everyone seems to forget about that one.

honestly if you ever saw soliman fight before you realize that winky's punches werent hurting him. the few that did land cleanly his movemnets were off the chain. That desicion was bull. i had soliman winning the first 2, 5, 6, 8, and 11 and 12. how do you miss 80% of your puches with an opponent that stands right infront of you. Soliman had the perfect style and stamina to beat winky and thats what he did.
Winky won because there is a whole lot more money to be made. with JT.

I agree! Poor winky was dragging ass, literally. I've never seen him so slow and sluggish. I'm glad he got the win, but hope he went home and doped himself up with some kind of cold medicine. He even looked really pale, and his defense was not "wright" at all.
