Winky was reported to be sick with a cold. Looked more like the flu. He had no quickness and his jab was negligible. He did land some good mid round body shots and had Soliman in some trouble, but Soliman danced around him at will mostly and landed at will. Compubotch is a joke. Soliman land twice the shots Winky did and he was the stronger fighter in the end. The house fighter won. No surprise.

I feel bad for Wink. Taylor won't fight him now and he lost this fight to boot regardless of the scoring. I feel good for Soliman. He wins even when he loses. It's obvious the crowd loved him, probably because he was a middleweight trading with a LH and coming out ahead.

I really can't understand your logic. Soliman landed twice the shots? Seriously, i can't comprehend how you could possibly see it that way. I hope you hit the REC button on your recorder when this fight started so you can run it back again. Soliman was lungjing with alot of his shots, and still you could physically see Soliman's head and body rock back when it by Wright.

Understand, Soliman does deserve credit for going in there with tremendous heart and making this fight exciting, but he didn't win. The crowd, of course, loved him because he made the fight interesting with his unique style. The fight was predicted to be one-sided and he did way better than anyone guessed he would. He was, however, outboxed, half the shots that did connect to wright, were blocked, and he was controlled and backed up most of the fight.

**The crowd booed the decision. Obviously there are plenty enough who think Soliman won. Regardless, the scoring and compujoke should be tossed out. Winky looked horrible, sluggish, and slow no matter how much frosting you slap on him.

          hmm

Again, I said before the fight with Winky's cold and Soliman's workrate, the fight would be somewhat competitive. Soliman made a cmpubox record for punches thrown at middleweight. You people are grossly exaggerating how much ***** was shown in Winky's armor. If you seen his fights vs Angel Hernandez and JC Candelo, this fight woud come as no surprise to you. When you throw 1260 punches, you make it a fight, regardless of how little skill you have.

Riddle me this: Who at 160 has skills and can throw 1260 punches a fight?

Scratch your head over that for while.

Also, even with ALL those punches thrown, Sam only landed 14% and only won 4 rounds.

P.S. Mayorga stands no chance vs Wright. Mayorga is wild like Sam but that's all. He won't be able to throw 1000 punches like Sam did, you can bank on that. Even if he could, he'd still lose, just like Sam did.

When I mentioned Mayorga, I said that he would do good against Wright. I never said that Mayorga would win, but with his wild style and better punch than Soliman, it could be a good bout.

The crowd means nothing, and this fight proves. Crowds are generall just drunken fans who want to see a scrap. Of course they booed the correct decision, because they like Sam! Sam made it a scrap after all. Crowds booing don't mean anything. The scoring is not tossed out, as it was accurate an fair. And neither are the compubox numbers. They show Sam throwing 1260 punches and when anyone has to deal with that many punches, they may look not as great as in past bouts. Sam still lost clearly and Winky landed way more clean shots, had Sam hurt a couple times, and made Sam miss 80% or more of his shots.

Winly looked horrible, sluggish, and slow in your mind. Get real.

Missed 80% of his punches? Boxing crowds just drunk?

What kind of drunken boxing fan are you. I daresay half the folk on this board go to matches. Just drunks to you? Is that what you are when you go to boxing matches? Perhaps you're just a sober teetotaler holed up in isolation blowing beets in private.

You can't even get your terminology correct. Compuhoax is just an HBO marketing tool like the cartoon Letterman for drunken boxing TV fans who still believe in the toothfaery. 2 goons in a booth desperately punching buttons can't count the number of punches each fighter throws and lands. Punches landed is not a defined term either.

Soliman "landed" 80% of his punches. Sure most were "blocked" from traditional amateur scoring areas, but Soli was landing at will and preventing Winky from throwing. I'd say 30% of what Soliman threw landed traditional scoring areas. He hit the body from all angles, every side of Winky's head including several which split Winky's gloves perfectly.

Maybe you like your winners bigger, stronger, with more reach and whining to the ref all night about a little guy agressively coming after him. Not I. I don't and a whole lot more obviously don't. You go ahead and prop up your man Winky. He needs itafter last night. Soli goes home the winner with American fans and is the one who fought the good fight and we all know it, and so does Winky, I guarantee that, especially after he hit the wall last night after having Soli briefly hurt. Never seen Wink do that before and he knows he was in trouble in that fight.
