If you look at Rings top ten heavyweights and you count the ones who have fought another top ten Ring fighter that was not a Klit bro the count will be four. That would be Arreola, Chagaev, Pusvetkin and Adamek.

Arreola fought Adamek, not sure if Tomasz was ranked yet. Adamek fought Arreola and Chambers. Eddie would be ranked if he had been active. Chagaev fought Ruiz, Povetkin and Valuev while they were ranked. And Arreola fought Adamek.

And what is my point? Other then for this hand full of fights the Rings top ten heavyweights are all fighting rather crappy opponents. So stop trying to pin it on Adamek when your theory can apply to just about all of the heavyweights combined.
