Calzaghe. Hopkins' middleweight reign mostly ******, with a few bright spots. JT and RJJ don't count because he lost those fights. Calzaghe also fought plenty of dull fighters, but started with a good win against Eubank and finished strong with Lacy and Kessler. Calzaghe also has some sleepers on his resume like Reid, Brewer, and Mitchell.

Hopkins also beat HOF'er and undefeated Felix Trinidad.

It's really not close at all.

... and Hopkins went on to fight undefeated Taylor, Tarver, Wright ( was 2nd p4p at the time ), undeafeated Pavlik who was seen as a monster, Pascal and then Dawson after the age of 40.

I don't want to hate on Calzaghe though cause he was a really good and versatile fighter
