I feel like he's perfect for 154 too, but at 160 his short reach and height would be big disadvantages. Fight Canelo or Mayweather II in December.

Cotto-Mayorga did how much? Cotto isn't expected to do big numbers like Pac and May by himself. Also depending on who he fights like a Golden Boy fighter I guarantee Golden Boy stacks the undercard to boost their numbers. Same thing if he fought a Top Rank fighter. Mayorga was a Don King fighter right so I doubt Arum put work into it if he has to give some money up.

Thanks to Mayweather and Pac. I'm not even sure if he's the third highest grossing.

How funny that times change. When Floyd was ducking Cotto years back Cotto's fan base didn't care about PPVs, now that Cotto sells a PPV they're all up on it. Baby Flomos. Except that unlike Floyd, Cotto isn't a great boxer.

Yes please tell me how much Cotto-Mayorga did.

While you're at it tell me the Jennings/Malignaggi one too.

I would love to know what Cotto's thought process is. It's clear as day that he should not travel up to 160, he simply doesn't have the physical attributes to be competitive up there. He's already stretching it by being at 154. It's honorable that he wants to make history, but he should only do it without catch-weights. Take the full risk or don't take it at all. Stay at 154, fight the winner of Spinks/K9, unify with Canelo and then ride off into the sunset.

LOL Yeah poorly I assume. Which is why Cotto shouldn't be held to the standards Floyd and Manny set. What is funnier is how much you dislike Cotto yet you discuss him a lot. What's up with that?

I don't like the idea of him moving up. Hopefully he goes back down Cotto Vs Canelo in the future will be a great fight and give him a great payday.
