Why does the fighter of the decade need catchweights and ducking fighters at their best if you have fighters the same size as Pac figthing these same fighters(that pac ducked) with out a catchweight?

      Bonus Observations

If Manny could destroy fighters twice his size. Why does Manny struggle with guys smaller or guys his own size? Could it be the guys Manny beat that where bigger them him, were actually walking mummys with no skill.

Pacfans claim Manny is on the decline therefor he didn't look great against Marques 3. Well Manny fought Marquez in three different times and situation yet in all three times, Marquez schooled Manny. Was Manny on the decline as well back when Marquez schooled Manny the first time?

You believe any gay little thing reported about mayweather and view it in the most positive light like this fruit flavored tid bit

Yet anything you here about manny like leg cramps turns into a negative and giant steroid conspiracy. Why? just because people want them to fight? Or it because Floyd having legitimate competition doesn't fit the beautiful picture of Floyd you want the world to see.

You daydream of you and floyd frolicking on a beach, relaxing on a hammock and spending your lives together. You probably write him everyday huh littlewack?

Either way Floyd was the same, if not lighter, then Manny fighting a fully hydrated Cotto that Pac felt was too big for him to fight with out a catchweight.
Yup, you are right. Jeff Mayweather said Floyd got that bleeding nose not because of Cotto but because he came down with a cold! lol

        that is just too funny.

that 147 actually came from floyd but it looked more like he's just bull*****ting...some of his followers took it like gospel though.

I guess you missed the part where I said "Problably". But to summerize it for you. The point of the thread is to show that Floyd and Pac are basically the same size yet one ducks a match because of a catchweight while the other doesn't. Why does Manny need catchweights?!!!

He did actually have a cold(there were videos of him the day before the fight of him sick). That does make your nose tender if you are constantly sneezing and what not.

I just saw on this thread that he weighed 146.5 for Ortiz and then weighed 150 on fight night on the HBO scale so I believe that. You are right, he does not gain much between weigh in and fight night. If he gained the same 3.5 lbs. for Cotto as he did for Lopez that would put him at 154.5 on fight night for Cotto. Also, I don't know if HBO subtracts the weigh of a fighter's shoes, trunks, and gloves, which would be at least two pounds. Pacquiao, like Mayweather gains very little between weigh in and fight night. Two of the few fighters that don't dehydrate to make weight.

lol probably...that means you're just assuming. you're making a conclusion out of assumption which is ******.

here's a fact...pac can make a 144 for a catchweight with jmm, floyd can't. i guess it's also safe to say floyd is bigger because of that.

So Cotto had nothing to do with Floyd bleeding from the nose? Man, if Floyd fans are going to make these kind of excuses when Floyd clearly won imagine if he he one day loses?

Let's give Cotto some credit here, please ... Floyd picked Cotto because it makes "money sense" not because anyone gave Cotto a great chance at winning this after his 2 big defeats. Still, Cotto did better than most expected.

but my point is that is the case for all the weights he's been at in his career but 154 is above his weight. Everyone says he walks around small. Just like every weight he's been at he weights at or close to the limit at the weigh-in but at 154 he doesnt. Its like a HW. They dont have to lose weight so they dont really gain much after the weigh-in.

Thats how I feel about Floyd at "154". I think its above his natural weight and he doesnt gain anything after the weighin. At those other weights he was super small but could still put on. This weight is his limit. Just like if he fought at MW, he's not going to gain after the weighin
