The reality is that Bob "I Have No Soul" Arum is just not going to let it happen because he knows that Manny would be thoroughly humiliated and probably sent into retirement. If Floyd was still a Top Rank fighter and under his control, Arum probably would make the fight, but he's not and it would kill that old crook to see his biggest cash cow get destroyed by a guy that he has zero control over. At the end of the day you have to blame Manny for either not being smart enough to make his own decisions or just not caring about who he faces and letting other people make them for him. Unlike Mayweather who always steps up to the plate and makes sure that he's involved in the best, most meaningful match ups available to the fans, Manny is content to just sit back and fight weight drained, washed up, mentally ruined fighters for paper titles in meaningless bouts.
