Garcia was gifted a belt from Morales... who was gifted it from Cano... who never fought outside of Mexico and was like 21...... instead of Ajose who's been waiting a year.

Well said Hougigo...Ajose has earned his right to figh for a world title. I remember a little known African fighter by the name of Ike "Bazooka" Quartey, you know the one that gave De La Hoya all he can handle. Yes those unknown fighters bring a lot of guts and sweat to the ring. The WBC is weak and Amir Con is not a big star either here in the states so what does it matter. The best fighters should be facing each other.

In order to get your WBC title shot you have to either be: Mexican, a GBP or TR fighter, or related to Jose Sulaiman. I've said it 100mil times before. The WBC Belt and Sulaiman are both simply a giant heaping steaming mound of crap.

What Olusegun needs to understand is that the WBC allows title unifications to take precedence over mandatories....unless the title unification involves Canelo and Austin Trout.

In that case unifications are all of a sudden a bad thing. Because the WBC would lose "authority and exclusivity" according to Jose Sulaiman.

In an earlier thread about the WBC not approving trout to fight canelo, they state that they blocked trout because they will not have complete control of the situation with another sanctioning body - total hiprocrites - and its really sad because these same sanctioning bodies offer no health insurance / medical / 401k - nothing and the fighters purses are docked what ever percentage to keep them alive - the Government needs to step in and save the sport or within 10 years it will be no more (trust me) - i am a die hard fan, been watching the sport since 1980 (37years old) and to watch the state of the sport is horrible - why would the best not fight the best ? very frustrating and i totally feel for Olusegun -
