Mayweather-Cotto II on December 1 at MSG?

What I noticed was Cotto could not land the straight right hand, granted he doesn't have a great one but I think he should have tried to direct that punch to the body more as oppose to the head. I like this fight though, beats the heck out of a Mayweather-Khan fight, which I still can't phantom why anyone wants to see that.

I agree, should focus on the right hand going to the body and the top of mayweathers dome, not the jaw. Also, instead of the left hook, he should focus on throwing left uppercuts and his uppercut/hook punches. Thats kinda how i see it. Also, just simply crowding mayweather and not giving him any distance to work with.

I mean, he did land his right to the body, but had limited to no success going up top with it.

When you close one avenue another opens. I disagree with you though. I think Floyd will stop him if they fight again, or he will beat him worse than the first time. Smart, tactical fighters always do better in rematches, even when they lose the first fight, they end up doing better the second time, win, lose or draw.

As if cotto is some scrub and not a smart tactical fighter? In this instance, there is a yin to this yang.

Don't see the point, other than to maybe stop Cotto this time. I'd rather see Floyd fight someone like Amir Khan in December, given he looks good in beating Garcia.

A second bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Miguel Cotto might be held on December 1 in Madison Square Garden in New York following the success of the first meeting. Cotto himself mentioned that date for a possible return in 2012 and rejected an offer to fight on September 15 against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who is without an opponent after injuries to Paul Williams and Victor Ortiz. Cotto was in New York City approximately three weeks ago as were those who handle Mayweather Jr., who is currently serving an 87 day sentence in a Las Vegas jail. If Floyd gets out by September, they would be ready to fight on the coast East where Cotto is an idol. And as The Sport Press reported on May 14, the economic success and the closeness of the first fight, where the ‘Money’ praised Cotto, makes a second fight viable. According to a credible source, the date of December 1 is already reserved at the Garden.
