    The Post Klitschko Heavyweight Scene.

Love them or hate them, you can't deny that the Klitschko's are bad for the heavyweight scene. If there was one of them it would be ok to have a dominant, if nice & dull, Champion. But the two of them makes it really really horrible - & I'm a fan. I watched them coming up & rooted for them but don't even bother watching their bouts nowadays.

But in 2 or 3 years when Vitali has retired & Wladimir is on the way out I believe things could get interesting.

America has a few decent heavyweights coming through. Nothing too special but Mitchell & Wilder are promising.

Britain has a few good fighters too & there's Mike Perez out of Ireland/Cuba.

I do not mean to be disrespectful (although I probably am) but the Eastern European Heavyweights are dull as ****. I grew up at the tail end of Ali's career. HE got me hooked. Larry Holmes wasn't magic but he was still 100 time better than anyone now (I mean in terms of personality). Tyson was Tyson. Lewis went through a dull spell but was still an intriguing character.

Wlad & Vitali are both fantastic, intelligent men but - because there's two of them - they're generic. Boring. Half a Champion.

I'm looking forward to some big heavyweight fights in Vegas - or around the World - by 2014.

Is there anyone who could really take over the role of HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION that we haven't had since 2003?

Andy Ruiz Jr looks very promising, Glazkov looks like he could be special and Kyotaro Fujimoto has seriously caught my eye....not sure how far any will go but it's nice to see that a bunch of fighters are emerging.

I don't care who it is (I still have reservations about David's chin) as long as it's only one of them.

I've followed Kyotaro's whole career in K-1 (the former kickboxing mecca of the world) and I've always liked the dude. He probably won't go to the moon in the Heavyweight scene but I always enjoyed watching him fight.

Christ, I thought I was the only guy that knew Kyotaro was a boxer now lol.

www.Boxingprospect.info brought him to my attention, looks like he could be exciting. Saw the 2nd round of his second bout and he appears to hit pretty damned hard. Think he's got more potential as a boxer than Hari.
