Molina is no joke.

Canelo is fighting on Mexican Independence weekend so it does not matter who h fights. Casual boxing fans are going to want to watch Canelo fight.

Average Joe doesn´t know who Lara is and his tiny 16 fight record wont help ticket sales.

The average Joe thinks Tyson is still champ. Boxing fans know who Canelo and Lara are especially after Lara beat Williams.

This fight is going to occur, not this year but with out a doubt next year. With all the trash talking and Lara possibility of getting another title shot within the not to distant future! Lara's name is growing larger and will be a huge fight with the current thought of ducking from Canelo.

who has he beaten? he beat kirkland who is one dimensional,nobody ever thought of kirkland as being a top fighter,he beat cintron when cintron already had been labeled as someone with no heart,didn't he fight chavez? most everybody in here says chavez is a bum,so no biggie there,i see no big victories against top fighters,top fighters not guys like cintron who just wasn't a good fighter to begin with....i still think lara isn't as good as people say he is,he's just begging for a good paycheck,he should fight winner of bundrage/spinks,gets some fans,make a name for himself and then unify with canelo,canelo is on his way to being a ppv star,not lara,thats why he should become a champ and then unify,only way it makes sense,moneywise

Canelo is been protected because his looks, as soon as he fights an elite fighter it will be over and GBP and the WBC knows that, and that's why he is been given all those bums to feed on, once you are a C'hamp" the age is no longer an excuse and he needs to defend his Belt against fighters in his own division and ranked.

huh?? all those fans and he still doesn't attract them to his fights? thats why the network doesn't want him...he said it himself,anyways so you can hear it straight from lara,he will be interviewed on espn deportes at 1:00 am eastern time this week,it's a spanish speaking program you can listen on radio or on computer,lara will be there talking about that,it's not made up by me,he'll say it himself

he's wrong if he says he doesn't have a fan base, we all live in South Florida and will go to any Stadium here and a few will travel to Vegas, New York or Atlantic City, but how many Mexicans live in Nevada, or Texas? You don't see a big Mexican gathering in New York City but a lots of Portoricans yes and Cubans too, a least a few years back, I remember Arguello-Pryor in the Orange Bowl and the Cubans were filling the Stadium for Alexis, 2004 Casamayor-Seda the Miami Arena was packed, I'm telling you the Cubans have a fan base but they are not being promoted right.

You cannot discredit Lara by using Molina. The guy throws a punch and immediately hugs his opponent. Molina has a horrible fighting style. I'm not a fan of Kirkland, but I'm glad he got the win against Molina. Keep Molina away from PPV events for the sake of boxing. Anyhow, the same people that use Molina to discredit Lara conveniently forget about the Williams fight.

Keep away Mayweather, Trout, and Broner then. They hug too much.

With fans like you no wonder the sport is dying, there 1.5 or 2 millions Cubans in the USA and we will buy the fight if they make it, and if they bring the fight to Miami the Stadium will be full, you don't Know $h1t about Cubans and you don't know $h1t about the sport, Molina can make look bad anyone, specially if that anyone like Lara didn't train properly, Shields was with Rigondeaux in Ireland and he had a tooth infection 3 days before the fight, so u have to put everything together and make a smarter post.

Cubans can fly to Vegas or anywhere to show support to their boxer. Most prefer not to.
