No, I chose to believe what the doctor already confirmed.

    Logic my friend, use it.

He's still a lot younger than most of the top fighters today. Lets see what he does in the future.

GBP promoting the crap out of him. Oscar is looking for a protege that would emulate him. Young good looking fighter that can fight so they can go mainstream and attract the masses.

        Its happening with Canelo already

He was knocked out after apologising. Floyd hit him, he looks to Cortez who isn't even looking at the fight then Floyd hits him again.

If the ref hadn't been negligent he wouldn't have been KO'd, even with Mayweather's trick.

Although, I think he may have stayed down on purpose.
lol you give Ortiz nothing, he was in cloud cuckoo-land after that undefended combo.

At first ortiz did look like a promising prospect. But I've never once watched an Alvarez fight, thinking he's going to be the next superstar. He's slow, punches wide, fights in spurts, can tell any slick fighter would give him trouble. He's like a LMW george foreman, without the insane power.

Nope, he wasn't looking at the ref at all. Start at 0:46 in the above highlights video and you can see Vic never looks for Cortez's attention. The video you're providing only makes it look that way because Floyd's left hand snaps Ortiz's head to his left.

                He got punched whilst apologising.

If he hadn't over apologised he wouldn't have got the initial punch. Therefore, he was knocked out whilst over apologising.

And it's Ortiz responsibility to put your hands up after being punched in the face.

                And think that's debatable.

I'm not sure what you're seeing bro. Even on the video you linked he looks at Cortez after the first punch, he looks like he's even mumbles something to him. Look at around 1:25, he says something to JC after Mayweather hits him the first time.

lol we're not going to agree. IMO Cortez could have stepped in after the first punch if he had been doing his job properly. Ortiz is a bit slow mentally granted but even he would stop apologising after getting punched in the face.

Sorry mate, Floyd did nothing wrong.

Ortiz was the only one who broke the rules in that fight (obvious and deliberate flying head butt)

You don't get "time out" to apologise in Boxing, Ortiz is just a bit touched mentally and Floyd isnt the sort to dole out unnessesary sportsmanship after you just delibiratley fouled him

There's no way Alvarez ends up the same way Ortiz has. Maybe he won't be a p4p legend or anything, but there's only OOOONNNNNEEEE Victor Ortiz.
