I can see the argument of Lopez actually beating Vargas being made.

And what did Floyd do to Ortiz?

What did Lopez do to Ortiz?

What did Maidana do to Ortiz?

Tell me what does victor do better?

Lol @ D4th's retrospect in this thread.

This guy is trolling hard right now.

How many fighters could Singurat beat the night he defeated Pac?

All Saturday night did was possibly raise Vargas's stock. In no way, shape or form did it lower Mayweather's lol

                  Please stop.

                    Trolling, not a chance.

Who in there right mind thinks that Ortiz is the tougher fighter than Lopez.

I gave Mayweather little credit for taking the Ortiz fight and little credit for his controversial victory. Mayweather can't fall much lower in respect of the Ortiz fight.

My opinion on Ortiz has not changed. My opinion of Lopez has gone up though.

Tougher doesn't necessarily transfer over to better matchup.

Gatti was as tough as they come and you saw what happen there.

There have been plenty of tough fighters throughout the history of boxing, but that doesn't mean they are the better fighter.

The night Mayweather fought Ortiz, Ortiz was extremely confident.

I actually predicted Saturday night, so I'm not taking anything from Lopez. After I saw him fight Vargas, I knew what type of fighter he was. Honestly, I thought Vargas could've lost that fight. He was running all over the ring.

But stylistcally, Ortiz had a better chance at defeating Mayweather than Lopez; so in my book, I would say Ortiz was the better fight.
