And how does that make Ortiz a tougher fighter than Lopez?

All trolling aside, if you're being serious then you really need to take into consideration that Lopez was fighting at 140 this past September and he seemed to be almost the size as Ortiz this Saturday. It's obvious Lopez was killing himself to make weight and has found new strength at 147. We see this happen all the time with fighters.

Even if Lopez is a tougher fighter that doesn't mean he's the better fighter. This past September, Ortiz at 147 was a better fight for Floyd. It ended up being easy work for him, but at the time, it was a solid fight for Floyd to take.

When have I even implied that?

Floyd should not have fought Ortiz.

It seems that the most important factor in boxing is hype and image to get the big fights.

            Sad state of affairs.

I would like everyone to have a chance to give you **** when they fall short some time in the future. Then we can all call them hypejobs and say we knew it all along...

People make excuses for Ortiz, but the fact is he has been found out many times before.

His punches are telegraphed, wide punches, open defense, and mentally fragile.

An exciting fighter, been in some great fights, but talent wise and toughness wise, nowhere near the top.

The Berto fight fight hyped him up more, but people missed the truth there, which Andre was even more hyped.

How can anyone think that Ortiz is the tougher fighter.

I said all along Victor was overrated, far too open, punches too wide, squares up, doesn't have the heart and temperament.

Lope on the other hand, full of heart great chin, great temperament, great combos.

Much tougher, this shouldn't even be an argument.
How does he punch to wide?

Who should he have fought? At the time, Ortiz was the #2 Welterweight in the world.

If you want to go back and check to see what I was saying about Victor before the Floyd fight, be my guess, much of the same thing that I am saying now.
