The fight will happen eventually. Maidana and Matthysse are more hometown rivals than they are friends. They fought each other in the amateurs. There is definitely a rivalry between the two. They have been on a collision course for some time now. This fight not only has FOTY written all over it, but rematch and epic trilogy!!!

Would be a good fight but I think Lucas is due for a title fight. LOL at thinking Khan will fight him especially after Maidana had him on ***** street and Lucas is a lot more polished than Maidana is. No way in hell they put him in with that killer, LOL.

Lucas would fight anybody for a tiltle at 140 but he wants to fight Maidana i think cause he beat him to join the olimpic team some years ago. Maidana just wants big fights but i'm sure he wouldn't fight Lucas at 140. I'd prefer Lucas fighting for a title first, then this fight should happen at 147 in 2013.

Damn both of these two Argentinians maidana & Lucas they r straight flat out G's LOL.. Lucas has boxing skill But he likes to go forward and fight and walk u down.. I like Lucas better cuz he is more polished and he is more of a inside fighter than maidana is and he has better footwork and I won't b suprised if he's the harder hitter off the two the guy has some real power in those hands and I doubt GB will let Lucas anywhere near Khan cuz if he got hit by lucas the same way he got hit by Peterson he is Gona b looking at the lights. Lucas to me is still undefeted after the horrible decision with Devon 'the OK' Alexander.
