Poor Victor, if it werent for the jaw he would have won the fight.
He should fight a few bums to get some confidence and then come back again!
Gotta love his fights whether he wins them or not

I'm not upset by the fact that Vic chose not to go on. I'm upset by his reaction or justification of his decision. He just casually plays it off like somebody spilled his drink; and not that he just chose to lose.

Victor Ortiz lacks the intangible qualities that would make him great. He has everything else (except defense.) He will give a good fight, for however long it will last, and will give some unintentionally hilarious audio clips before and after it as well.

You would think with his back story, he would have what it takes to be able to reach down and channel that hunger and desire to be great. But it seems that for this particular fighter, his past only hurts him when he faces adversity.

As someone else has already said, the problem with Ortiz is he always finds a way to lose, he hasnt got that inner steel some fighters have.

And yes he quit, but who here can honestly say they would go on getting him for another 9mins with a broken jaw? If he really did have a broken jaw, I dont blame him.

I'm sure you would have continued with a broken jaw. Clown.

Seriously i don't think half the posters who have slated Ortiz could fight with a broken finger nail let alone a broken jaw.

A broken jaw kills, Abraham is a different monster to Ortiz doesn't mean Ortiz is a coward.

True. And "break" is a very subjective word. One could have a slight fracture or a compound one. They are both breaks but the severity level between the 2 is significant.
