@Weebler We're talking about a broken jaw here. Stop reaching.

It's a very tough sport and as a trainer you've got to put the fighter's health first, it's him in there.
      Ortiz could have been killed!!

Watson didn't even have a broken jaw. It's a value judgement for the trainer but they should err on the side of caution, particularly where their fighter doesn't look comfortable.

There's a lot of macho stuff with fighters but trainers need to see past that and realise when their man is genuinely hurt.

Plenty have died in the ring without even having a broken bone in their face. Youtube it and you'll see plenty. It's not a game. There's a reason Mayweather talks about self-preservation.

Having a broken jaw exponentially increases the chance of having Parkinson's and visual loss from being hit in the back of the head. Fact.

^Josesito's corner should've stopped it. He could've been killed out there.

ortiz had a broken jaw theres no shame in quitting with a jaw broken sure he may have made it to the end but his career was in jeopardy. either way this fight was a lose/lose situation for ortiz so yeah his career is still in jeopardy but its best he pulls out now to fight another day. boxings the only thing he knows without it he aint ****.

Problem with the Garcia clan. Roberto Garcia cost Margarito his career because he did not pull him out of the Pacquiao fight.

Some times you have to lose a battle to win a war.

                    The Garcia's can't see this.
