Danny Garcia is not at fault

I have read a couple posts on how Garcia doesn't care about his fighter and he shouldn't have wanted Ortiz to continue.

First of all Garcia's only fighter is Ortiz so there isn't anyone on the planet Garcia cares more about then Victor Ortiz, unless he wants to drive that pepsi truck for the rest of his life...

I basically see it like this; Either Ortiz continued the fight clinched and ran for the last 3 rounds, win or lose, he would have won alot of fans back, a boxer who didn't quit after getting his **** blown out. He sort of would have redeemed himself for the Maidana fight. And he definitely would have shown that he had heart. The Canelo fight would have been postponed(not sure how long a broken jaw takes to heal).

OR Ortiz quits, again, he has no heart and now...his career is in jeopardy who wants to pay to watch a fighter who keeps quitting. The Canelo fight is completely off now. Friday Night Fights here we come!

So if you were Garcia which would you prefer for Ortiz...

obviously if i was garcia, i would have wanted ortiz to continue. last night, ortiz was given the opportunity to really show what he's made of. if he had finished the fight with a broken jaw, win or lose, he would be getting major credit right now.

      ****ing Ortiz

Garcia knows that Victor knows how to run...he did it in the latter part of the Peterson fight...he could have done that for 3 rounds and saved himself the embarrassment of having to deal with the 'quitter' tag again

Ortiz was up on a couple of the scorecards and could have boxed his way to a win but didn't want to deal with it....just like the Maidana fight

Garcia is to blame for not training Ortiz to tuck his chin in. It was pathetic.

Garcias not teaching Ortiz anything. His defense is s_hit and Ortiz cant even throw a proper straight left. At least not without squaring himself up leaving himself wide open for counter rights. Ortiz needs someone who can teach the basics. Teddy Atlas would be perfect.

This is a VERY big weakness of Ortiz's, he desperately needs to get a trainer who will rectify that flaw. Ortiz absorbed plenty of left hooks, uppercuts and straight rights.

It's hard for me to criticize him. I've never been hit flush before let a lone have my jaw broken by a punch and get continually hit.
                I can't really say anything

Michael Watson's corner sent him back out because he was ahead and he ended up brain damaged.

Gerald McClellan's corner could have had a little more thought when he started blinking and spitting out his gumshield to breathe too.

It's a very tough sport and as a trainer you've got to put the fighter's health first, it's him in there.

Garcia was just trying to save Ortiz some embarrassment
