The fact is realistically there are only 3 fights ginger can make at 154 that's ppv worthy. Floyd, Cotto & Martinez that's it.

But Trout is a damn unification fight. Easily the best fighter ginger will have faced in his entire 50 fight career. I'll be happy to bet anyone Trout eats ginger alive.

I agree. Trout is the best fight next to Lara in my opinion. It might not be the best fight to watch but it is a unification fight between two of the best junior middleweights. Trout deserves the fight and it might be a better fight than some people think. I think Canelo will beat Trout but Trout is a very good fighter. Cotto would be a great fight for Canelo but Golden Boy never brings up Cotto's name that I know of. Maybe Cotto wants more time off.

kirk didnt want the fight cause of his shoulder, i think his best option is prolly carlos molina his a mexican, cotto is on vacation, angulo in vacation, floyd in vacation, they should just wait for kirk to get better n put the fight on showtime or cbs but no way ppv unless its vs cotto or moneymay

it will not be Trout or Lara that is for sure, both are too skilled and they are excellent counter puncher, they want someone ****** like Kirkland or Ortiz, somebody that will walk into punches and GBP is hoping Canelo can score the KO

but Quintana would not be a Push Over either though, Quintana has a clever stick and move style

I think it is pathetic though from fans and fighters that they are using the excuse that an opponent is "BORING" as a reason not to fight him, never mind the fact that the fighter that is labeled "Boring" is a Top Fighter in his OWN RIGHT in the same division...to me that is just another way of saying "I DON'T THINK I CAN BEAT THAT FIGHTER RIGHT NOW" and for the Fans it is the same thing "I DON'T THINK MY FAVORITE FIGHTER CAN BEAT THAT FIGHTER RIGHT NOW" but instead of saying that they make a bunch of ****** EXCUSES

I agree it's a good fight but it has nothing to do with the fact that it's a unification. Titles don't mean **** anymore. Neither guy beat a good fighter for their belt so it's meaningless.

And I'll take that bet. Trout would get outgunned.

Angulo is in jail, on no planet is that considered a vacation lol. Molina is the most boring match-up out of all the possibilities. I'd rather see Canelo/Quintana before Canelo/Molina. They should just wait til October/November and make Canelo/Kirkland, GB needs to use some common sense. Trout and Lara are more tougher match-ups, but aren't PPV-worthy.

OR, they could make a PPV in November with Canelo/Trout and Kirkland/Molina 2 on the card. Somebody send GB a memo with this idea lol

I really hope he does not fight Quintana. Fight fans don't want to see him fight another unranked fighter. A win over Quintana does nothing at all for his career.
