I really can't believe people actually picked Soto. Matthysse is so underrated, he's always been top 5 140 pounder imo. Undefeated too.

Completely agree. He beats Alexander and Judah, yet Soto was going to beat him. Heh. Soto tried, and did well for 2 rounds, but it wasn't anything Lucas hadn't seen before. I love the way Matthysse fights. There's a lot in his arsenal, and he doesn't waste his shots. Damn fine fighter to watch indeed.

calling Soto a fraud is like calling someone like Marquez a poosy. Soto is one of the most avoided fighters of this era, he's always been calling out the big names aint nobody wanna fight him cuz he's one of them high risk-low reward type of fights. Hell, he moved up to fight Mathysse in hopes of landing some big fight afterwards, and although it was a great show I think he made a poor decision in doing so.

It was a good fight, just like Ortiz-Lopez, all Latino wars !! I wanted Soto to win but itīs OK , Mathysse is great, he represents Latinos and he was robbed in his two losses.

Lucas should have been a 10-1 favorite. He already beat Judah and Alexander and they are clearly better fighters than Soto. This fight was a mere formality, I expected the KO.

Neither Judah nor Alexander are better than Soto. Both are cowards.
