These are professional judges who have training and decades of experience and they are always within 25 feet of the action and are watching it in real life. You are a dumbass who doesn't know how to judge a boxing fight and has ZERO experience and was watching the fight on a 2-dimensional screen.

I'll take their expert judgement over yours any day.

A) One of them had little experience.
B) One of them had *just* previously rendered an absurd judgement that was called out in a previous fight and mocked by just about everyone as being ridiculous.
C) The AP was 25 feet from there too and no one scored it that way
D) So....100 more punches landed by a power puncher and 100 less by a guy who has Ko'd how many? 6, 7? Should be able to render judgement without even watching the fight.

On subject, yeah, 2012 is turning into the death of this sport. I have little to no excitement for the remaining fighters. Everyone is getting caught on drugs, and there's nothing but fairys on the horizon who have absolutely no guts and little skill.

I think Ortiz saw this fight as a foregone conclusion, that all he had to do was turn up tonight, perform to a decent level and he'd be getting his hand raised and a big payday in September.

Lopez is no mug, so Ortiz should really have been using this fight as a platform to put on a flawless display in preparation for the Canelo fight. Even before the stoppage, his defense looked very sloppy and he was making a lot of mistakes whenever Lopez put him under pressure.
