Anyone who doesn't think this is a HUGE step up for a prospect with so few fights like Del Valle, needs to be taken off life support because they are ***ing brain dead. This is going from the shallow waters to the ocean in one step.

they could have found someone else to test del valle, darchinyan is a good test but not for a 122 pounder, maybe a 115 yeah but 122 is too high for vic, even 118 i think was too much..plus he's lost his last two fights but that really wouldn't of matter if it was more in his own weight

This is a good crossroads fight, if Darchinyan loses he might become a stepping stone type of opponent. Whoever wins might be in line to get a title shot in the near future.

HUGE step up for Del Valle. He's young and has shown great potential but still a tremendous leap in class. Obviously, big questions will be how Orlando deals with Vic's pressure and experience along with how much effect Vic's power will have at 122 (and how Vic handles taking a shot at 122 as well). A very intriguing match.

They are trying to build up Del Valle for a future fight against Mares. PR vs Mex is always good business.

Not true. The greater difference between them is not the weight, it's the experience. There is no other way to look at this other than this is a huge step up.

well i think vic is too small to be fighting at 122 and probably will also be too slow,he looked like that at 118 so imagine at 122,this kid should win

Big step up for Del Valle. I might go check this one out if its at Mohegan Sun.

I like this fight.Vic is dangerous and unpredictable. In terms it's a 50/50 fight with Del Valle having the youth and lesser opposition in pro fights while Vic has more experience and is a been there done that type of level guy.
