            Tell the story;
            Slappy beat a young hyped Lacy, and old well past prime Roy Jones, and lost to an Old 40 year old Bernard Hopkins.
            Hiding out in Whales, fighting bums for 85% of his career for an arena full of degenerate drunks is his real legacy.
            Joe Calzaghe was the Lucien Bute prototype.

                  I always find it funny when people say that a fighter "ducked everybody", yet he unified a division.

                    Funny, I just checked Calslapghe's record and he never held all four belts at the same time, hence he never unified the division. And the only time he held three out of the four was when he beat Kessler: His last fight in the division before jumping up to Light-Heavy for his last two fights. For the vast majority of his career the only belt he held was the jokingly worthless WBO, which has never been universally regarded as a major belt.

                      Joe Calzaghe gets criticized and rightfully so because:

                      1. Calzaghe was a backyard fighter who only fought with hometown referees and judges, He only traveled abroad for like 2 fights one of which was Hopkins.

                      2. Further he only fought people when they were way, way past prime like Roy Jones Jnr,

                      3. Even worse he had no power whatsoever and throw a flurry of punches and the hometown referee would jump into prematurely stop the fight.

                      4. Calzaghe was lucky to be champion as a super middle weight when the supermiddle weight division was very weak.

                      5. Calzaghe he switched his loyalties around alot, he changed promotors, managers, and woman, almost daily, Alot of people do not like that, Personally I could care less but its another criticism of him.
