Why is J.M. Marquez always getting a pass from fighting D fighters before PAC?!

well i think he was...definitely a bigger named fighter and more accomplished than a relatively unknown fighter from europe who has okay boxing skills and very little power.

I agree. It's not like Marquez has not fought top fighters. And he's not getting a lot of credit for these type of fights anyway so it really doesn't matter. When fighters of his status get that age I do give them a pass at this point. He doesn't need to build a reputation because he has already established it. If he wants to tune up before a big payday I'm cool with it.

You wouldn't be one of them. I'm sure were perfectly ok with the Margarito catch weight fight as well as the Mosley fight.

Yet there were a good amount of people picking both fighters to beat Pac due to their size and power. Who the hell is picking this fedchenko guy to beat JMM let alone even be competitive?

Bullsh..it. Both Margarito and Mosley were big underdogs in those fights. Thanks for proving my point.

For the same reason Pacquiao gets a pass for avoiding OST and fighting old guys at weights they don't even belong in and still gets outboxed by.

Obviously you dont recall the polls here regarding the prediction to those fights. Was Pac a favorite?...Sure. But they were both intriguing matchups given the size and power advantages both fighters had over Pac. What advantages does Fedchenko have over JMM or where do u even see Fedchenko being competitive against JMM ?

Fedchenko wasn´t a bum, some could say he did better against Márquez than Pac 3, until Márquez broke him.
