Interesting match up, kind of came out of nowhere. It's the two best fighters in neighbor divisions and top p4p boxers fighting each other, doesn't really happen too often. I'm excited for it, might not be Gatti-Ward by any means but I expect a good chess match.

One way to trouble Dawson as Hopkins showed is to move to Dawson's left hand because Dawson is a right-handed southpaw. Bradley did the same thing to Pacquiao but he was moving to Pacquiao's right hand. The thing is Dawson is much faster than Ward, and if Dawson can get you in a corner to unleash combinations you are in trouble.

Hopkins everytime he was cornered he clinched, he still lost because Dawson is that good.

highly skilled soccer players are admired by the fans of the sport...highly skilled basketball players are admired by the fans of the sport....highly skilled NFL players are praised by the fans of the sport...any sport you name, the ELITE players are the fan favs....but in boxing, the highly skilled fighters are labeled BORING for some strange reason .....the classy skilled technichal wizards gets no love but classless bum ass, all offense and no defense ass slouches gets all the love LMAO....sick ish!!!

For some reason, even though these fighters styles are all different, plus Ward/Dawson have quite a ways to prove they are on their level, but this fight makes me think of Charley Burley vs. Ezzard Charles. Too bad there is no footage of the fight, but Charles won both fights.

stop replying to these complaining pu$$ies who are just criticizing this match up because it is two Top American P4P Fighters (and for some two Black American Fighters which is the real reason they are trying to criticize this match but don't have the balls to admit it)

both fighters are very smart fighters, both can make adjustments, both are very versatile BOXERS, both uses difference stances, they move in and out of Left and Right Hand Stance (that alone should be interesting), both can fight inside and outside...so I think this fight will be much better then most are expecting because this is a Golden Opportunity to finally impress some fans who still doubt them despite them being the best of their respective division and being Top 10 P4P Fighters

if you don't like that match up then fine, go watch two bums throw Power Shots but yet they are fighting for nothing more then what? A Silver Belt or what ever belts a lot of those BUMS fight for...this is BOXING...NOT BRAWLING...if I want to watch JUST Brawling then I will watch a UFC Heavyweight Match and watch two unskilled BUMS try to knock each other out

when those Brawlers/Exciting Fighters make it in a P4P Rankings and is regarded as the "BEST IN THEIR DIVISION" then I might take them serious, but for me I consider a lot of those Brawlers/Exciting Fighters just fighters who toughs it out because they don't have no ***in skills or speed or reflexes so they just eat punches and take punches...RECENT EXAMPLE? ANDY LEE LAST SATURDAY! Brawlers get exposed every time eventually!

and LOL at the people who compare this to Bradley vs Alexander...hahaha Bradley told you idiots that fight was happening too soon and Alexander wasn't ready but then these same CRYBABY WANNABE BOXING FANS started saying Bradley was DUCKING so then he went ahead and took the fight and it was disappointing...this fight is much different, both of these fighters are seasoned fighters and are in the PRIME OF THEIR CAREERS!
