I am sure Floyd is pissed. This was the guy he was grooming from the start. He has bragged about how great Vargas is going to be and spent a lot of time and money on him.

You won't see him fighting Pac anytime soon but I could imagine a Vargas-Jones fight or an Alvarado-Vargas fight as soon as Alvarado moves up.

yes this is gonna drf piss floyd off. anyone wwho doesnt think so is delusional. imo its just business. sure it would have been nice if he stayed with the team that bought him thisnfar and got him featured on national ppv but if he got a better deal, then so be it. i still like the kid and think he has a decent future ahead of him.

..realistically, Vargas hasn't impressed me @ all. he's a tough young guy but he doesnt appear to possess any real dynamic that would threaten any talented boxer. He reminds me of a slightly less talented margarito...(minus the brass knuckles of course)

Floyd invested like probably 500k on him. I know he got 100k in each of his last 3 fights, and who knows what he was getting before that. So i'm just throwing 500k out there. And no manager fees, no nothing, Vargas got to keep all that money, thanks to Floyd letting him. Now he leaves lol.

But I agree with every one though, I never had anything to say about him, either positive or negative, cause he just hasn't fought any one. Cause he just hasn't fought any one for me to have an opinion on him. His fight with Josesito Lopez, Steve Forbes and a little of Trenton Titsworth[just the kiss part] is the only fights i've seen of his. He looked his best against Forbes, it seemed like he had improved since his Lopez fight.
